Hello Professional Creative Writing Grads!
We’re excited to welcome you to the PWRI Exchange! The aim of this site is to help you maintain and deepen your connections with fellow PWRI graduates. You share your bio, discuss works in progress, trumpet your hits and lament your misses, discover career-relevant resources and links to writing news, and announce events such as workshops, signings, readings, retreats, and other writing-related activities.
Here’s how you can connect and contribute:
- Post your bio in the Member Directory. Be sure to include all of your social media handles, links to blogs, and URLs to your writing website.
- Start and/or join conversations with fellow alumni on the PWRI Forums. Feel free to share information about writing-related opportunities, including calls for submissions, contests, grants, writing retreats, and more. You can even share work in progress and ask for feedback. Use the exchange to cultivate the network you began to build in the PWRI program and alleviate some of the isolation that is natural to the writing profession.
- Add events you are personally involved in to the PWRI Calendar, so your fellow writers can help spread the word.
Our goal with this site is to keep it as simple to use as possible while allowing it to evolve over time. You can be a major influence on that evolution by making suggestions, posing questions, and engaging frequently with your fellow writers. Thank you in advance for participating!
