If your novel is complete, consider submitting to The Black List. According to Variety, “the Unpublished Novel Award will give $10,000 grants to support authors on the journey to publication in genres including Children’s & Young Adult, Crime & Mystery, Horror, Literary Fiction, Romance, Science Fiction & Fantasy and Thriller & Suspense.” Note that you do not need to have an agent in order to submit to this award!
